Grow Taller For Idiots - Bone Facts and How To Grow Taller Naturally!

After you reach maturity in your early 20's the number of candles on your last birthday cake has little relevance to your fitness age. This is determined by the physical condition of your body and how strong and fit you are. What you do and don't do and how you treat your body as you grow older is what really influences your own personal aging process not just the number of years.

The number one bio-marker of the aging process is the loss of muscle tissue starting in the mid 20's at the rate of around one half pound per year which continues throughout life. This rate doubles after age 50 if nothing is done to arrest this loss. Along with the muscle loss is bone loss as well as each muscle is attached to a bone and when muscles become weak bone also becomes thinner and weaker. We start to shrivel and weaken.

Despite what you believe or have been told over the years, it is not inevitable that you enter into a downward spiral of performance and appearance as you get older. The facts are that most of us age at an accelerated rate and the worst part of it is - we don't even know it. Nobody has told us this. Therefore we don't bother to do anything for ourselves to slow down the ticking clock

But the truth is we each have a choice about how we wish to grow older. We can simply surrender and get old quicker than we need to or we can take control and get physically active with a proper exercise program containing mostly strength training exercise and grow strong, fit and energetic.

Sure it is tough to change old beliefs along with old conditioning and habits in order to turn your own body and your own life around. It may be inconvenient to have to go and exercise two or three times each week. It may be inconvenient to prepare and cook healthy meals from scratch.

But think about it how inconvenient will it be to get a life changing diagnosis that you have a serious disease or illness that could wreck your life. How inconvenient would it be to have to endure tests, doctors, specialists, more test and maybe surgery or treatment?

We each have a responsibility to maintain our own health, strength and fitness and if you are not already doing so - it is time to take that first step on your own path towards better health. You can and should be able to not only maintain but also improve your physical abilities such as your strength and fitness across the course of your lifetime. You can be fitter in your later years than you are/were in your younger years.

Think of your proper exercise program as a form of preventative medicine an absolutely essential component for maintaining a healthy body and mind. Our bodies were meant to move, a lot - not to be dormant and sedentary. Make your strength a priority, get some help with your program from a fitness professional and in a few months you will be wondering why you didn't get started sooner.
